What would you rather do on a gorgeous fall day, over the weekend in Miami? Upon the suggestion of a friend, we showed up at a mangrove cleanup event organized by the non-profit Fill A Bag. The activity was energetic, fun and family friendly.
There are very good reasons for us to consider creating opportunities for going cleaning up our oceans on a regular basis. According to National Geographic, there is 150 million metric tons of plastic contaminants in our oceans.
